International Folk Dance Club

Would you like to learn folk dance and customs around the world while participating with a fun and supportive group? If yes, this club is definitely for you!

Welcome to the International Folk Dance Club, led by Maria Pahos-Benson.  Maria grew up in a Greek family and has been dancing since early childhood and loves every moment of  teaching as well as performing. Maria  is also an accomplished International Folk Dancer... Maria's warm personality and encouragement is a real asset  to our club. She is truly respected and appreciated.  Please come and join us!
The International Folk Dance Club meets Tuesdays from 9 to 11 a.m. in Clubhouse 1 main lounge. No partners needed. The first session for new students is free. Afterward, all subsequent classes are $5 weekly. The first hour is for beginners. The instructor teaches many dances representing different countries, reviews, reinforces patterns, steps and styling. Newcomers and beginners are especially greeted with a friendly response and all enjoy the wonderful company.
