August 21: Free Movie Night Featuring A Dog's Purpose

 

Don't miss A Dog's Purpose at the Performing Arts Center! Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are no charge and include complementary popcorn. Please, no outside food.

 

A Dog's Purpose: A devoted dog (Josh Gad) discovers the meaning of its own existence through the lives of the humans it teaches to laugh and love. Reincarnated as multiple canines over the course of five decades, the lovable pooch develops an unbreakable bond with a kindred spirit named Ethan (Bryce Gheisar). As the boy grows older and comes to a crossroad, the dog once again comes back into his life to remind him of his true self.

August 27: California Classic Rock Faceoff

 

On Sunday, August 27, it's a California classic rock standoff when Creedence Clearwater Revival takes on the Doobie Brothers! CCR tribute band, Born on the Bayou and Doobie Brothers tribute, Rockin' Down the Hiway, faceoff on the Performing Arts Center stage, playing all their respective hits. Showtime is 4 p.m., and tickets are $20 orchestra and $15 balcony. The GRF Bar will be open. For more information, call 949-597-4288.

September 22: Live and Let Die: A Tribute to the Music of Paul McCartney

 

Veteran of the Broadway hit, Beatlemania, Tony Kishman has toured worldwide with productions of Twist and Shout, Classical Mystery Tour, All You Need Is Love, Legends in Concert, and was a member of classic rock band, Wishbone Ash.


Live and Let Die features a five piece band lead by Tony Kishman (vocals, bass, guitar and piano). You’ll hear, complete in every detail, hit songs from the Beatles catalog and Paul McCartney’s solo works. Live and Let Die takes place Friday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center. Tickets on sale later this summer at the box office for $25 orchestra and $20 balcony.
